My Top 5 Song Intros

I actually wrote this list early, despite posting so late.

This list was requested by Dan. It’s a pretty good suggestion. On this list, as with any of the others, please feel free to suggest your own, ask me to justify mine, or even just tell me how awesome I am for picking such good selections. So, the list (as always, in no particular order):

  1. “Come On, Come Over” on Jaco Pastorius by Jaco Pastorius
  2. “Penguins” on I Love Everybody by Lyle Lovett
  3. “I’m The Man Who Loves You” on Yankee Hotel Foxtrot by Wilco
  4. “Thunderstruck” on The Razor’s Edge by AC/DC
  5. “Pinball Wizard” on Tommy (concept album) by The Who

I'm wondering how many other people have, like me, not heard more than two of those songs. Perhaps I'm not part of your target audience, but I just don't find this list accessible enough to comment on. There's a difference between having good taste in music and being a musical elitist, but you are obviously free to pick whatever songs you'd like to fill your top-5 list. :-)
